Additionally, Liverpool based social care charity Nugent has been named as the official charity partner, reinforcing the tournament's commitment to driving long term social impact across the Liverpool City Region.
Tournament Director Anders Borg noted that while competing with football in Merseyside is always a challenge, the primary objective remains to:- break down traditional barriers, address accessibility, and encourage local children to embrace tennis as a primary sport.

On the Court this year, the event continues to be a crucial proving ground for emerging talent alongside established ATP and WTA professionals. The tournament is riding a wave of record breaking interest following the Lexus Liverpool International Junior Tournaments earlier this year, which saw over 1,200 junior players from 40 different nations apply to compete.

The confirmed player lineup for this summer features highly anticipated appearances from:- former British Number 1, Dan Evans, alongside rising British prospect:- Annabel Wong.
They will join a competitive field looking to follow in the footsteps of the 2025 singles champions, Patrick Brady of Great Britain and Romania's Patricia Maria Tig.

The tournament continues to place a heavy emphasis on the women’s game, showcasing a strong blend of established WTA professionals, historical icons, and rising stars. Defending women's singles champion Patricia Maria Tig of Romania is a focal point of this summer's anticipation, following her dramatic victory in last year's tournament, where she defeated local Merseyside favourite Abi Redman in a highly competitive Superset final. Looking ahead to the upcoming matches, the female lineup is boosted by the confirmation of rising British junior prospect Annabel Wong, who is set to bring her exciting brand of tennis to the Aigburth grass.

Off the Court, the tournament schedule celebrates women's tennis with its traditional and highly popular Ladies Day, which takes place on:- Friday, 19 June 2026.
