OVER night the Thundery showers will continue across Central and Northern parts of England. If out and about, please take care as these storms are bringing with then heavy rain, hail, gusty winds and lightning. This means very unpredictable driving conditions. Please keep your speed down and take care, especially if the road is flooded.  If a road is flooded  try to avoid driving through it, even if it looks safe to do so. Stay Weather Aware...

Already, we have had reports from Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service about road closures on Merseyside, due to flooding. Please be aware  of possible delays and diversions on your travels.

The Met Office says tomorrow will start off with responsibility good weather, but the unsettled conditions will again lead to a rusk of thunderstorms later in the day. But as with Saturday, the bad weather is predicted to once again gradually clearer as the night progresses.
